How do I register for the course?
When you click the “request” button, you will be prompted to complete a request form. Once you submit your request, it is received by our Volunteer team for review. If the request is approved, you will receive an email with your log in information.

Do I need to finish the course in one sitting?
This is a very short course and you should be able to complete itwithin 30 minutes.. But if you must log out before finishing, don't worry. The system will remember where you left off and start you there the next time you login.

Do I need to access to a computer in order to take this course?
No. You can take this training using any computer, tablet, or smart phone. All you need is an Internet connection.

Is there a time restriction on completing the course?
The course is self-paced. You can move through the information as quickly, or as slowly, as you like. You can move backwards at any time, if you need to review something. Ideally we would like you to complete it on ine day so that you can start your role as a volunteer driver.

Can I fail the course?
You cannot fail the course. At the end of the training module you do need to pass a short, multiple choice test, to confirm your understanding of the information. If you don't get the correct answer to each question, you will be asked to review the content again and then you can re-challenge the test. There is no limit to the number of time you can re-test.

Will I receive a Certificate of Completion when I am finished training?
Yes. Once you have successfully passed the test, the system will generate a digital certificate that includes your name and the date of training. You will be able to save a pdf copy of this certificate for your records.

How can I give my feedback?
Within the course itself, there is a feedback option. You can use this to provide your thoughts on the training experience. You can also contact the Irish Cancer Society directly. The correct email is on the Contact Screen of this website.
